He’s ten years old, and he was hungry for some cereal.
Cheerios, to be exact.
So, he hopped in the car and headed for the store.
(Not sure where the parents were at this point.)
During his journey, a police officer noticed how young the driver behind the wheel appeared.
And it was 9:30 p.m. on a school night. So the officer turned on his emergency lights.
That’s when the chase took off.
The boy fled when the officer activated his emergency lights, leading police on a chase that reached speeds of 50 mph. At one point he drove through an intersection and a residential yard in reverse, narrowly missing a tree. Police eventually blocked his path, ending the chase. No one was hurt.

The “Fast & Furious” tyke told police after the chased ended that he was on his way to Target or a downtown Stillwater co-op to buy some Cheerios.
According to his parents, who were wide awake by this point – they had no idea what their son was doing because they were…asleep.
Good night!
