A wheeled device, slightly curved in the middle which looks similar to a hospital trolley and has space for an oxygen tank- would you be tempted to upcycle it to be a furniture for your home?
Well, I don’t know about you, but an online seller thinks so.
On a Facebook marketplace, the Grimsby Swaps & Sales Sell Haggle Enjoy page, one seller posted a photo of an undertaker’s dead body preparation table and said it could make a perfect man cave table or big kitchen table.
He listed the table on Grimsby for just £50.

A medical preparation table helps undertakers to wash a body or prepare it for embalming – a process that stops the body from decaying.
Due to the nature of the work the surface of the table would have been kept in excellent cleanliness. High levels of sanitation are required to prevent contamination and chemicals would have been used to keep the table fresh.
But no matter how clean it is, imagine having dinner off a surface that had been used to support dead bodies.
Creepy, right? Revolting might be a better word.
That’s what horrified internet users felt, saying they would feel uncomfortable knowing their table’s previous life involved blood and body parts.
When it comes to ugly tables, I’ve seen worse. But at least they didn’t come from a morgue.
