Imagine popping into your local convenience store to get a drink, maybe a snack, and then you see this:

These two guys were not shopping for fruit. Dubbed the “Melon-headed bandits” by authorities, the two robbers entered a convenience in Virginia store wearing this getup – half a watermelon with eye holes cut out.

I’ll bet the cashier didn’t seedless coming.

The two geniuses proceeded to rob the store, and this was caught on a security camera.

WRIC reports officers managed to arrest one of the suspects, 20-year-old Justin M. Roger.

He’s charged with wearing a mask in public while committing larceny as well as stealing alcohol while underage.

There is still one melon-head on the loose. If you see Mr. Watermelon Head out on the street, remember to call the police, not the grocery store.

It’s not a runaway piece of fruit. Melon head did commit a felony and will eventually have a story to tell his cellmate.
